EV Loader was selected as a partner in the ENPOWER Horizon Europe project. Partners of the project include the National Technical University of Athens, Chalkion Energy Community and INESC TEC, among others.
Our team analysed real charging session data, covering time of day patterns, session duration and connector type and capacity, to build models that predict charger demand and generate optimal charging schedules for electric vehicle drivers on the island of Chalki. This enables the local energy community to keep Chalki running mostly on locally produced solar energy. The solutions EV Loader developed were tested in actual charging stations on Chalki and replicated by the Hungarian and Spanish pilots of the ENPOWER project.
