EV Loader is the research and technology unit of Parity Platform P.C, building and operating the EV charging infrastructure and software that European projects use to test their ideas in the field.
Horizon Europe Projects
Partners
Projects
A live network to pilot on
A public and private EV charging network in Greece, owned and operated directly. Partners test against real chargers, real sessions and real drivers, not a laboratory rig.
CPO and eMSP software
A proprietary charging platform, speaking OCPP to chargers and OCPI to roaming and payment partners. The platform can be extended, its APIs exposed, and instrumented to measure whatever a work package requires.
Smart charging and V2G
Demand forecasting from real session data, charging schedules built around local renewable generation, and Vehicle-to-Grid integration. Demonstrated in ENPOWER and Crete Valley.
Cybersecurity for charging infrastructure
An open source security layer for Charge Point Operators, static analysis of production charging code, and end to end protection for charging IoT devices. Built across Charge Cyber Secure, CONSOLE and SecurIT.
Edge and decentralised deployment
Lightweight Kubernetes at the edge, federated learning, and continued operation through network outages. Demonstrated in FLUIDOS FusionCheck.
Next wave of electric vehicles
Charging infrastructure for eVTOLs, electric seaplanes and marine vessels, where power levels, safety rules and port side integration differ from road charging. Explored with Hellenic Seaplanes in Sea Plane Fortress.
Partner categories
Research centres and universities
Research partners bring the method; EV Loader provides the deployment site and the operational charging data required for evaluation under real conditions.
SMEs and technology providers
Components are integrated into a working charging stack and exposed to live sessions, so validation takes the form of a deployment rather than a demonstration.
Utilities, DSOs and energy communities
EV charging demand is made visible and controllable, and connected to local generation.
Coordinators
A Greek SME with a network already in operation, experience both as a beneficiary and as a cascade funding third party, and partner descriptions that can be turned around quickly when a deadline is close.
Projects
Six Horizon Europe and EU funded projects, from island scale energy systems to cybersecurity for charging infrastructure.
Visa Innovation Program
Contactless payment components in EV Loader software, so drivers can start a session at a public DC charger by tapping a card or phone, with no app. Funded by the Visa Innovation Program and Endeavor Greece.
EV Loader x Aria Hotels
EV charging hardware and software deployed and managed across Aria Hotels properties in mainland Greece, Mykonos and Kimolos.
Questions coordinators ask
Which legal entity signs the grant agreement?
Parity Platform P.C., a Greek SME. EV Loader is its brand for EV charging hardware, software and infrastructure, and is the unit that carries out these projects. Contracting, reporting and audit sit with Parity Platform P.C.
Have you taken part in cascade funding before?
Yes, four times. EV Loader won the first Resilmesh open call and the first FLUIDOS open call, was awarded under the CONSOLE External Validation Activities, and received a SecurIT award. Third party reporting and short technical deadlines are familiar ground.
What does using your network as a pilot site involve?
EV Loader owns and operates public and private charging in Greece, so a pilot runs against real chargers, real sessions and real drivers rather than a laboratory rig. The site, the hardware, the operator role and the data are provided; evaluation criteria are defined by the partner.
How quickly can you return a partner description?
Submissions should include the call, the topic and the deadline. A one page partner description is typically returned within two working days, with prompt notice if that timeline cannot be met.
What can EV Loader commit to inside a work package?
The role is consistent across every project: technology developer and provider of EV charging infrastructure, covering the charging platform, the deployment site, and the integration work between them. EV Loader is well positioned to lead a work package on smart charging, charging cybersecurity or field deployment.
Building a consortium? Share the details of the call.
Submissions should include the call and topic, the deadline, and the intended role for EV Loader. A partner description will follow, along with a realistic view of the commitment that can be made.
