EV Loader partners with Electro Systems and Dahua: meet the D-Volt chargers
EV Loader is launching a new partnership with Electro Systems and Dahua, bringing the Dahua D-Volt range of EV chargers to our e-shop. The new range includes a portable charger for everyday flexibility, a smart wall box for homes and businesses, and a high specification model for demanding professional spaces.
Dahua Technology is a global manufacturer of smart IoT solutions and video technology, and D-Volt is its EV charging range. Thanks to our partnership with Electro Systems, you can now order these chargers directly from EV Loader, entrust the installation to our team and connect the smart wall boxes to the EV Loader platform.
Why this partnership matters
The partnership pairs hardware from an established global manufacturer with local installation and an open charging platform.
- Open standards. The D-Volt AIR and PRO wall boxes support OCPP 1.6J and Modbus TCP, so they integrate with the EV Loader platform and with energy management systems.
- One partner from order to operation. Choose your charger in our e-shop, book installation with our team and go live on the EV Loader platform.
- Built for real conditions. IP66 and IK10 ratings let the wall boxes handle outdoor car parks, rain and dust, in temperatures from 30°C below zero up to 50°C.
- Safety built in. The wall boxes include Type A 30mA RCD protection, 6mA DC leakage detection and PEN fault protection.
Dahua D-Volt MINI: portable charging wherever you park
The D-Volt MINI plugs into a standard household socket, so you can charge at home, at a holiday house or at a friend’s place without installing a wall box. It is a smart backup to keep in the boot and a simple first step for new EV drivers. However, this charger does not support connection to our EV Loader software and cannot be used for commercial use or heavy use in company fleets. Choose the D-Volt AIR models for use in companies and the D-Volt PRO model for commercial use (revenue from visitors charging at your business).

Dahua D-Volt AIR: the versatile smart wall box
The D-Volt AIR is the most flexible model in the range, available in single phase 7kW and three phase 11kW and 22kW versions. Each power level comes with either an integrated 5 metre Type 2 cable or a Type 2 socket, and selected versions add 4G connectivity for sites without reliable Wi-Fi.

Dahua D-Volt PRO: premium features for commercial sites
The D-Volt PRO is a three phase 22kW charger designed for locations where accuracy and clear information for the driver matter. A 4.3 inch LCD screen shows drivers their session at a glance, and the built in MID certified energy meter records every kWh precisely, which is essential when you charge guests, bill tenants or reimburse employees.

Which D-Volt is right for you?
- You want to charge without installing anything: D-Volt MINI
- You charge at home or run a small business, with solar or a limited power supply: D-Volt AIR
- You run a hotel, a business, a fleet or a car park and want to offer charging to your business’s visitors for a fee with the EV Loader software: D-Volt PRO
- Your site has no reliable Wi-Fi: choose an AIR or PRO version with 4G
- You prefer to keep the cable on the charger: choose a version with an integrated 5 metre cable; for shared or public spaces where drivers bring their own cable, choose a Type 2 socket version
Connected to the EV Loader platform
Every D-Volt AIR and PRO charger communicates over OCPP 1.6J, the open protocol the EV Loader platform uses to connect and manage charging stations. Once your charger is installed, you choose how it works:
- Public charging: your station appears on the EV Loader map and drivers pay your business directly for the energy they use.
- Private charging: only the drivers you authorise can charge, with free charging limits and monthly consumption reports.
No staff need to be on site. Drivers scan the charger’s QR code and follow the steps, while payment and receipts are handled electronically.
