Delete your account

You can close your EV Loader account yourself, from My Account, then Delete Account.

What happens

• You are signed out on every device.
• Your account information is deleted.
• You lose access to any remaining token balance.

Spend your tokens first

The important one. A token balance is not refunded when you delete an account, and tokens cannot be converted back to money at any point, so a balance left behind is simply gone.

Check Wallet before you delete. If there is a balance, use it up first. See Token Wallet refund policy.

Finish anything in progress

Do not delete the account in the middle of a charging session, and give any recent session time to settle so its final amount and its receipt are worked out against a live account.

If you are waiting on a refund or a released hold, wait for it to arrive first. See Refunds and how long they take.

Receipts

Receipts already issued are registered with the tax authority and are kept as the law requires, independently of your account. Download any you need for your own records before you delete, because you will not be able to sign in afterwards.

If you only want a break

You do not have to delete anything. Turning off notifications and marketing email in Settings leaves the account and any balance intact for whenever you next need a charge. See Your details and payment methods.
