When you press Charge Now the app asks how you want to pay.
A credit or debit card, entered in the secure payment page of our payment provider, Stripe. EV Loader never sees or stores your card number.

Tick Save this card for future EV Loader payments and the next session is a single tap.
Both are offered where your device supports them, and they are the quickest option because there is nothing to type.
A prepaid balance inside the app. If you have tokens, Pay with Token Wallet takes the cost of the session from your balance. See Token Wallet.
If you charge occasionally, use a card. You pay exactly what you use, and none of your money sits in the app waiting to be spent.
Tokens make sense if you charge often and would rather top up once than pay per session.
One practical warning about tokens: if your balance runs out mid-session, the session stops. A card has no such limit. See Charging stopped part way through.
A few stations have a card terminal on site. Where one exists you can pay there instead of in the app.
